DISCOVER Z'S BEES HEAVENLY HONEY

We are Matt and Kristin Zurmuehlen and we started Z's bees in 2017 after watching a television program that highlighted the decline of honeybee populations and the role they play in our society. We decided to start this family adventure to help with the population decline as well as to pollinate our own fruits, vegetables, and flowers. Over the years we have done lots of research and attended local beekeeping seminars.
In the first year we had grown to 4 hives and more equipment than originally planned because of the availability of bee swarms.  Everyone in the family has a part in helping out with maintaining the hives and honey production.
In 2019, we had grown so much we had to switch this from a hobby to a small business.  We now offer multiple products including: honey, creamed honey, lip balms, hand salves, puppy paw salve, and beard balm.  Currently, we deliver our products right to our customers.
We also have the opportunity to share our knowledge of bees with others.  Between May and September we do bee presentations with our observation hive.  These groups have included: boy scouts, girl scouts, summer schools, after school programs, retirement homes, 4-H groups, etc.  We share knowledge while allowing others to see bees in action.  It is a great experience for all.
This adventure is something we hope to pass to future generations. We are truly blessed to have the opportunity to experience God's nature at work and to pass along what we have learned to others.  We want all that we do be done to the glory of God.
